Sweet Pea 'Strawberry Fields'

- CARE GUIDE
A wonderful variety reminiscent of sliced strawberries. It has two different pink/coral coloured tones and is very beautiful alone in bouquet. Nice fragrance.
This variety comes from our own cultivation in Australia where all the seeds are picked by hand. This is a laborious and time-consuming process, making each seed precious. We have an extremely limited stock as weather and freight affect the price of these varieties. Take care of them! Keep them in an airtight bag in the freezer until it is time to sow them. They will last for many years if kept cold. Growing time: 10-30 days.
Growing habit: Height approx. 180 cm.
Location: Sunny position.
Longevity: Yearly.
Fill a pot with potting soil, water thoroughly and place sweet pea seeds on the surface. Fill with soil and cover with plastic wrap or place in a bag as a mini greenhouse. Place in a bright window, avoid direct sun. After 1-5 weeks, when the plants are 7-10 cm, place outside with protection in case of cold. Leave the pot in an open bag. In May, plant out with Zeta's sweet pea fertilizer, slightly deeper than in the pot. Water regularly with liquid nutrient/gold water. Let it climb high branches.
