Scissors 'Walnut' are perfect for smaller gardening tasks, such as pruning potted plants, summer flowers, and stems. They feature a beautiful walnut wood handle and high-quality hardened steel blades, providing a clean and precise cut. Ergonomically designed for comfort! No chemicals have been used for coloring the handles. Each pair of scissors is handmade and sharpened using traditional methods in Japan.

Usage: Wipe off any water and dirt after use and store indoors to prevent rust. These scissors are incredibly sharp, but the blades will need to be sharpened over time. Have them professionally sharpened or use a sharpening stone.

Made in Sanjo Niigata, Japan, by Toyama Hamono, a traditional manufacturer of secateurs and scissors since 1861. Based on Japanese sword-making techniques. Each tool is stamped with the characters Hidehisa, which during the Edo period in Japan represented superior quality and craftsmanship and has become a Toyama Hamono signature.
