Scissor 'Steel'

Scissors 'Steel' are perfect for smaller gardening tasks, such as simple pruning of potted plants, summer flowers, and cuttings. They have a fine aluminum handle with high-quality hardened steel blades, providing a clean and precise cut. Ergonomically designed for easy use! No chemicals have been used in the handle coloring. Each pair is handmade and sharpened using traditional methods in Japan.

Usage: Wipe off any water and dirt after use and store indoors to prevent rust. These scissors are incredibly sharp, but the blades will need sharpening over time—either professionally or using a sharpening stone.

Comes with a leather sheath and wrapped in a black gift box.

Made in Sanjo Niigata, Japan by Toyama Hamono, a traditional scissor manufacturer that has been making pruning shears and scissors since 1861. Based on Japanese sword-making techniques, each tool is stamped with the characters "Hidehisa," which during the Edo period in Japan represented superior quality and craftsmanship, becoming Toyama Hamono's signature.
