- CARE GUIDE
Paeonia 'Do Tell' received a medal from the American Peony Society in 2004 and has many excellent qualities. It blooms early, already in early June, with flowers that have a metallic pink sheen in various shades of pink. It often produces multiple side buds and establishes quickly, becoming a beautiful and vigorous peony in a short time. It has a mild fragrance.
Flowering time: May-June
Height: Approx. 80 cm
Hardiness: Zone 4 (5)
Growing conditions: Sun to partial shade
Size: 3-5 eyes
If you can't plant it now, place the tuber in a plastic pot. The soil should be slightly moist, but no watering during winter. Place the pot outdoors by a wall under cover, or in an unheated shed/storage. In April-May, the peony can be planted in the garden.
Autumn planting: Dig a hole at least 50 cm deep and wide. Mix compost or rose soil with existing soil and add Zetas bulb fertilizer. Place the root at an angle with the buds facing up and cover with about 5 cm of soil. Water thoroughly.
