Mother of Pearl' poppy is a poppy mix that consists of relatively large, handkerchief-shaped flowers in bright colours such as powder pink, pale purple and washed-out purple with silver highlights. As the name suggests, these flowers give the impression of being made of mother-of-pearl. It is an easy-to-grow and absolutely lovely poppy mix that can be sown directly in the garden.

Colour. Mixture of purple, white and pink.
Growing time: 7-14 days.

Sow directly into the soil when it has warmed up in the spring. Water the soil before sowing and keep it moist until the plants are established. Thin out when the plants are large enough to handle. It can also be sown in the autumn for earlier blooming. Leave seed pods on the plants for self-seeding or save them indoors to sow next year. Prefers well-drained soil.
