Dwarf Nastratium 'Tom Thumb' is a sweet cress in a mix of vibrant shades of yellow, salmon, orange and red. Nastratium is perfect in the kitchen garden, pots and flower beds. Flowers and leaves are edible with a peppery flavour. Easy to grow. Loved by bumblebees and bees.

Type of plant: Annual.
Sow directly where they will bloom in May–June. Keep the soil moist until the plants are established. For earlier flowers, sow indoors in April. Use moist seed compost and cover with a transparent lid with ventilation holes. Place in a bright, cool spot after germination. Harden off and plant out when the risk of frost has passed. Avoid excessive fertilization, as it promotes leaf growth over flowers.
