Dwarf Nastratium 'Ladybird Rose' produces unusual, dark pink flowers with darker spots at the base of each petal. Perfect for pots, hanging baskets and borders in the kitchen garden. The flowers have a peppery flavour which is perfect in salads. Easy to grow. Loved by butterflies and bees.

Sow directly where they will bloom in May–June. Keep the soil moist until the plants are established. For earlier flowers, sow indoors in April. Use moist seed compost and cover with a transparent lid with ventilation holes. Place in a bright, cool spot after germination. Harden off and plant out when the risk of frost has passed. Avoid excessive fertilization, as it promotes leaf growth over flowers.
