Dwarf Nastratium 'Apricot' has lovely apricot-coloured flowers on bushy leaves. Perfect for pots and pallet collars in the kitchen garden. Flowers and leaves are edible with a peppery flavour that is perfect in salads. Easy to grow. Attracts bees and butterflies.

Type of plant: Annual.
Sow directly where they will bloom in May–June. Keep the soil moist until the plants are established. For earlier flowers, sow indoors in April. Use moist seed compost and cover with a transparent lid with ventilation holes. Place in a bright, cool spot after germination. Harden off and plant out when the risk of frost has passed. Avoid excessive fertilization, as it promotes leaf growth over flowers.
