Sow indoors in moist seed compost in April. Keep the soil moist until the plants are established. Use a transparent lid with ventilation holes. Place in a bright, cool spot after germination. Harden off the plants and plant them out once the frost risk is over. Can also be sown directly in the planting bed after the frost risk has passed. Regularly remove wilted flowers for a longer blooming period. Cosmos is highly appreciated by bumblebees, bees, and butterflies!
