Allium 'Mount Everest'

A prize-winning ornamental onion with 15 cm large globes in bright white on sturdy flower stems. It blooms in June-July and reaches a height of 90 cm. Planting depth should be three times the size of the bulb.

"The flowers and stems are very sturdy and durable, making them perfect as cut flowers. I often place them in the large old pot on our garden table. Since allium tends to have unsightly foliage that yellows and withers when it blooms, I recommend planting the bulbs among other perennial plants that can cover them, such as lamb's ears, wormwood, or lady's mantle.
