Allium 'Albopilosum' (Allium 'christophii')
'Albopilosum' is one of the most beautiful allium varieties. It produces purple globes that can grow up to 20 cm in diameter, with a beautiful, metallic, shimmering sheen. The flower stem reaches a height of up to 50 cm. Thrives in sunny locations and blooms in June-July. Plant at a depth of 15 cm.
Bulb size: 12/14
Contains 5 bulbs.
Allium should be planted early in autumn in a sunny position with well-drained and slightly moist soil approx. 15 cm below the ground. During the growing season, keep the soil evenly moist. Clear the area of weeds and debris before planting. Improve the soil by adding compost or manure. This will improve the soil's nutrient content and drainage. When the foliage sticks up in the spring, it is good to sprinkle on some of Zetas bulb fertilizer as extra nutrition.
